• Back to School Basics

  Thank you so much for helping me and my students start the year. There are so many things that you need in a classroom and you helped provide those for me and my students. I am so grateful for people like you that donate to these projects. Many of my students do not have money to buy their own supplies, so having them ready in my classroom, helped them, be prepared to work, which day, therefore helped improve their grades. Little things like highlighters to highlight your notes erasers to erase your mistakes notebooks to take notes and are also important for the students and we are forever. Grateful for everything you did.”

• Counting Calculators

  Funded Apr 4, 2024

  My students all have additional needs even though they are in the general education setting. Having access to a calculator to do the class work assists them with not only learning the math but being successful. Many of these kids have never been successful at math and having access to the class that helps them use it on test class work, and even on the state testing because the calculators are allowed for her several of my grades. The look on my students face when they received the calculators was priceless. Your gift to my classroom is so appreciated by me and all of my students.”

• Begin with Books

  Being an ESE teacher, many of my students are not skilled readers. Some of them, in fact, even in the higher grades, do not have the ability to read at all having novels in my classroom, gives me the ability to work with them in small groups to help increase their reading skills in our school library, we don't always have enough books for a class set. You have given me the ability to not only give my students a fun novel study to do. But also the ability to help increase the reading skills, by reading a fine, engaging book. Thank you so much for taking the time to invest in my students in my project I don't think words could ever describe the change that you make for students when you invest in projects like this.”

• Pencil problems

  Funded May 24, 2024

  I have never seen pencils disappear so quickly! My students use a ton and them.... Not always for the right reasons but they still have good intentions. When you get into the older grades it becomes harder for the students to admit they don't have what they need to be successful in a classroom. I love that I can have things readily available for them where they do not have to ask.

  The students love having so many pencils and never having to worry if we are going to run out. I teach 6th-12th grade and they do so much writing. Thank you so much for funding my project!”
