Bringing Supplies Into Our Room
Funded Sep 12, 2023I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. Thanks to your support, I have been able to purchase essential materials that have already begun making a meaningful difference in my students' learning experience.
As part of my teaching approach, I've shifted away from traditional worksheets to more dynamic, hands-on group projects that allow my students to collaborate, share ideas, and learn from one another. I've seen firsthand how much more engaged and excited they are when working together on tasks that allow them to apply their knowledge in creative ways. However, one of the key challenges I've noticed is helping my students stay organized as they work.
Your donation has enabled me to purchase several critical supplies that have already had a significant impact:
Digital Kitchen Timers: These timers help students manage their project time efficiently, ensuring that everyone stays on task without unnecessary distractions.
Laminating Pouches: Allowing students to create lasting project materials that can be reused and preserved, adding value to their work.
Plastic Storage Bins: These bins are perfect for organizing materials, preventing clutter, and saving precious time during group activities.
Label Maker: This has been an incredible tool for helping students label and organize their materials, creating a sense of ownership and responsibility for their work.
Better Than Paper Roll: This versatile material helps create flexible, reusable bulletin board displays that enhance classroom organization and communication.
These supplies are not only helping my students stay organized but also teaching them the value of being intentional and efficient with their time and materials. As I watch them engage in their projects, I'm reminded of how important it is to equip them with the skills that will serve them both in the classroom and beyond.
Thank you again for your kindness and commitment to supporting education. Your generosity has made a lasting impact on my students' learning experience, and we are truly grateful.”

Funded Nov 13, 2024I want to take a moment to extend my deepest gratitude for your generous donation to our classroom. Your support has made a meaningful difference in the lives of my students, and I cannot thank you enough for your kindness.
As you know, when students take tests, it's essential that they feel both focused and comfortable in their environment. Your donation of privacy boards, pencil sharpeners, and colored pencils will help create a space where my students can work without distraction, stay organized, and truly do their best.
For my students, privacy during testing is not just about preventing cheating; it's about creating a secure and calm environment where they can concentrate fully on their work. The privacy boards are particularly valuable for students with special needs, as they provide the extra focus and calm that helps them succeed. Whether it's blocking out distractions or offering a quiet space of their own, these tools are crucial to their success.
The pencil sharpeners and colored pencils will also play a significant role in supporting my students. Whether they're preparing for a test or working on assignments, these resources ensure they have everything they need to stay organized and perform at their best.
Thanks to your generosity, my students will have the tools to help them thrive in their academic journey. I'm incredibly grateful for your support, and I can assure you that every item will be put to great use in creating a positive and productive testing environment.
Once again, thank you so much for your kindness. You are making a direct impact on the education and success of my students, and I'm deeply appreciative of your generosity.”

With your donation, I am able to purchase gift cards for Teachers Pay Teachers, a wonderful resource where I can access a wide range of high-quality materials, activities, and tasks specifically designed to engage students in math. These resources will allow me to create even more exciting and effective lessons, and ultimately help my students deepen their understanding of key math concepts in a fun and meaningful way.
Your kindness not only benefits my classroom, but it also directly impacts the educational experiences of the students I teach. I am excited to use these materials to enrich their learning and make math an even more engaging subject for them.

Funded Jun 26, 2023Thank you so much for your very generous donation! With the use of technology today the extra need for power chords is extensive. Many of my students do not have the means to charge their iPads at home, therefore when in class it is necessary for them to plug in so they can complete their work. With so many odds that are already against them, thank you for helping put the ball in their court!”

Funded Jun 12, 2020I truly appreciate your kindness and generosity! My kids came back to the classroom without so many essential tools - whether it was because their parents couldn't afford to purchase supplies due to losing their jobs, or if it's because they were not able to go to the stores to purchase the supplies (due to not having the time or being scared). Your donation provided each student with a notebook, stylus and writing tools to begin the school year with one less thing to worry about. They were super surprised and excited to begin the first day of school with their "care package". Thank you again for helping these families return to school with ease.”

Funded Aug 12, 2020Thank you so much for your very generous donation during this extremely hard time. Teaching remotely is no easy feat, and keeping my middle school students excited to come to Math class takes planning! With the use of the Teachers Pay Teachers gifts cards I have been able to purchase many fun and engaging activities that make my kids want to come back for more.
They especially LOVE when I get escape rooms for them! With the Escape Rooms the students are given various questions based on the topic that we have learned (for example: Ratio and Proportions) and as they answer the questions, they get clues to be able to ESCAPE the virtual room. THEY LOVE IT!
We are all very grateful for your donation and help during this time. Please stay safe and healthy!”

Funded Jan 10, 2020Thank you so much for your very generous donation! I wish I got a picture of my kids faces when we received the boxes, they were so excited! Writing on an iPad can be difficult, with their new stylus' the kids can write with ease and neater! The chargers are such a HUGE help. By the end of the day the kids iPads are almost dead. With these chargers, they kids can continue to work and not have to worry that their iPad is going to die. It has been such a help with both the chargers and the stylus'!! You have helped us out so much!”

Funded May 20, 2019Words cannot express my gratitude towards your donation for our document camera! The students love it when I share their work on the board. They are all so proud to get to display their answers and explain how they solved the problem. It is also great when I share an answer that is wrong because we all get to look for the mistake which helps them in the future to avoid similar mistakes.
The document camera is a camera that allows me to project a paper on the board, by simply holding the camera over the page. The kids love when I put their work up and allow them to speak about what they did. With this camera they get to become the teacher and it is so exciting for them and great for me when I get to see them being excited about Math!
Thank you for allowing my students this opportunity and helping to bring FUN into our Math classroom!”

Funded Dec 31, 2018When my students saw the folders they were SO excited!! Prior to receiving these dividers my students were using old folders when they took tests. These folders were ripped and taped back together and also written on from other classes using them. The folders would fall because they were not sturdy and were a HUGE distraction for the students while taking a test.
This week they actually couldn't wait to take their test so they could try them out...THEY WANTED TO TAKE A TEST!! What kid wants to take a test? Thank you so much for donating towards these dividers! My kids and I are both very grateful!”
