I'm really excited for the new school year! The 7th graders will be exploring ancient civilizations! My students will use binders and notebooks every single day in class. I insist that much of the learning that takes place in my classroom is student centered. One way I achieve this is by using an interactive notebook which requires supplies such as sticky notes, highlighters, marker pens, glue and scissors. Motivating 7th graders is a difficult task and using incentives is one way I get my students to buy into work completion. Sitting in the reading corner on bungee chairs is a reward all of my students love to earn! To make this year the best year the 7th graders can have, requires many materials. I hope this year will be exciting and fun for my 7th graders!
