Students can use an online dictionary to read and spell in their writing. My 1st graders can learn how to model addition and subtraction word problems with number sentences and pictures. With programs like ePal, our classroom is able to connect with people around the world. We can make virtual trips to visit places or step back to past times. Students can independent browse through educational websites to look at pictures of the solar system or watch videos on sea animals. The opportunities are endless. When you have an increase of student interest and enjoyment using iPads, technology is a motivation for academic achievement.
