Our school is very close to where The Walking Dead is filmed! Some of my students pass the "town of Woodbury" and the "Alexandria Safe Zone" every day. Unfortunately, it's a more rural area and many of my students do not have WiFi at home. Bringing more technology into my classroom will give them an opportunity to experience technology they would not otherwise be exposed to. These Fire tablets will let them listen to audio books in the classroom, improving their reading fluency and exposing them to technology, which they might not otherwise have. Help me bring this technology and improved reading skills to these great second graders!
