How Creativity Can be Incorporated in STEM!

Funded Nov 11, 2024

My students and I are so very thankful for your donation! This Creality 3D printer bundle has been a big hit with my students! They are learning not only how to 3D print but to see the potential of 3D printing. They are seeing that it isn't just a tech tool, but a way to expressively create things. We are also learning that this can be a pathway for being able to use their creativity in a potential career field.

Our first project to let each of them become familiar with the printer was to design and create their own Christmas ornaments.

We are now looking to design things that could be used to help in our community. For example, one of my students is collaborating with the school dyslexia coordinator to create "Dyslexia Jenga" blocks to help with dyslexia therapy. While another worked to design a custom water bottle opener that will aid people suffering with arthritis.

Once again, thank you for your generosity!”

With gratitude,

Mrs. Woody
