Not Your Average Learning Stations
Funded Oct 14, 2019When my kindergarten class first saw these amazing hands-on stations, they were excited! They couldn't wait to use these manipulatives and station activities! We are able to engage our students as they learn using concrete materials, and they enjoy station time.
With the variety of resources you provided for my classroom, many subject areas are included in station time. The stations are engaging and they also cover many TEKS, which is my ultimate goal!

Funded May 23, 2018Our class was overwhelmed with excitement when we received all of these art materials! As soon as we received the paper and paint we began making a beginning of the school year craft, which seemed to have gotten the children excited for school and ready to learn. It is wonderful that we now have so many of these things and each themed lesson we do, we can now make something to make our learning so much more meaningful! The students are engaged and learning all at the same time! I can not thank you enough for your generosity!”

Funded Oct 3, 2017My students were amazed at all of the small group supplies they received. As soon as the materials arrived the students light up and wanted to begin using them. They immediately became interested and they also have taken great care of their new supplies such as: dry erase markers, dry erase boards, bags to store the writing supplies in, and their chairs. The students look forward each day to using these items, and more items, to explore more about the world around them!
Watching the students progress in their writing skills has been amazing and I think having the markers and dry erase boards have helped them excel. I get extremely excited when I see my students so engaged in school and enjoying every minute of learning.”

Funded Oct 9, 2017The students have responded extremely well to these motivational materials we received with this project. The students work even harder than they did before to receive the stickers and treasure chest items. The students love to use the Chromebook to access educational websites such as Tumblebooks and Imagine Learning.
We are gearing up for the holidays and are reading many holiday books. A specific author we enjoy is Jan Brett. We plan to use the Chromebook to research many books and resources that she has on her website and other places on the internet. This will take us into another huge project that we will discover...Christmas Around the World. We plan to use these resources to research several different countries.”

Funded Oct 17, 2016I want to thank you for funding our project! The touch screen laptop and supplies are a huge hit in our classroom! The students are now able to quickly research topics and connect to the latest apps and websites for students.
My students love any type of technology, but they are especially drawn to this laptop because of its touch screen capability. They feel like they are using a tablet, but they can also turn it around and use the keyboard like normal laptops!
All of the students in our class absolutely love this device and the materials! It truly is great to see all of the students being able to utilize and learn how to use this technology!”

My students absolutely love iPods and we now have several to disperse to students. This makes our learning much more fun and especially engaging for the students. The students are able to quickly and easily connect to the latest apps that help promote healthy lifestyles!
