• Our Community Cares!

  This project has made a difference not only in our school but in the community as well. Some of our items have multiples because this project has benefited ALL of FIRST GRADE! The kids have felt so loved and have truly enjoyed the snacks! Anytime we can add food or snacks, our students are always appreciative and thankful! These items have truly made a difference in our learning! Our first graders definitely feel healthy and happy with the snacks. We greatly appreciate all that you have done to help our community and students!”

• Read to Succeed! Take a Look… Read a Book!

  This project has allowed and will continue to allow me to expand our class' reading content. Having new books to read has greatly helped encourage my students to not only visit the classroom library more often, but they are ENGAGED! They are loving the new Young Cam Jansen books and Magic Tree House books. Many students in my class don't have books at home, so this has helped me provide different kinds of books for them to read at school.

  These have greatly improved my Literature Circles and my higher readers and much more engaged, and can't wait to meet in their group to discuss their new books!”

• Food for Thought!

  My students are so excited for their healthy snacks and goodies! They screamed and squealed when they saw all of the boxes of snacks! They were so excited to pass them out to the other first grade classrooms as well! When the teachers saw the goodies, I think I saw a few jaws drop and tears fall. We are beyond grateful for your generous gift to our classrooms.

  I truly don't know how to begin to express my gratitude for the donations. Our students eat snacks everyday and all of our students have very healthy appetites. These snack items help diminish significant triggers that can interfere with the learning environment.”

• Printers help us... Read, Write and Share Together!

  The ink is now flowing freely in our classroom, thanks to your kind and generous support! My first grade students truly enjoy being able to print draft after draft of their writing projects. With the printer and a new supply of ink, students are more eager to write to print and aren't as reluctant to attempt writing projects because they know they can print a new draft when/if needed. Thank you for choosing our classroom to support...your support truly made a difference to our writers! They also love having all of the beautifully colored stations that we have been able to make and provide for them!”

• Moving on Up!

  My students have more space in our classroom because of all of our new storage containers. Everything has a place, and my students know where their supplies are! When they need a new eraser or a new glue stick, they know quickly how to get a new one and continue with their task!

  They were so excited when they saw the new materials for our room! They immediately asked where we got them. I was excited to explain to them how we got this project funded by people supporting our classroom and school! We are very grateful! Thank you!”

• STEM for the Win!

  My students were surprised when we received a new table for small groups, the timer, and Stem activities. They could not wait to begin creating and solving!

  The table and timer are used every day for small group learning time. We are able to do group things and still be distanced. The timer is perfect to keep us on track and productive during this time as well.

  The Stem fairy tales and building vehicle supplies were perfect to get our little imaginations exploring and working. It is very hands-on and the students stay engaged!”

• Solve It!

  When all of these engaging materials came in, my students were extremely excited and ready to learn; they could not wait to use them and get started! These are wonderful during small groups and some are used every day in whole group.

  The magnetic dominos and tens frame boards are used everyday and help make our math meeting much more hands-on. The students enjoy this time in our day. They also enjoy using the other folder games and sleeves during small groups. We are able to turn just about any activity into a game or small group lesson that the kids enjoy participating in!”

• A Book for Everyone!

  These new leveled readers have been a great addition to our guided reading lessons. We have been able to search for high frequency words and better our reading skills.

  The best thing about these readers is that each student has their own personal book as we participate in guided reading. We are able to dig deeper and each child takes ownership of their reading! Once we are done with these in class, each student is able to take theirs home for a few nights and show their parents what they are learning and reading about.

  My students who are just starting to read and enjoy word work are especially loving these leveled readers.”

• We Love Math

  Thank you very much for providing our kindergarten students with this fun and innovative way to make teaching and learning math exciting. We are able to use these Osmo systems during instruction and after for reinforcement stations!

  The students truly enjoy each opportunity to have hands on and fun learning stations and that is exactly what you provided for my classroom!

  The first plan of action was to use these materials for a reinforcement station in only Math, but this product has proved to have endless opportunities in more than just math! The students can learn Math as well as other subjects, and they can be used before, during, and after teaching!”
