Our school is a highly diverse school, with a 100% free lunch program for our students. Our school is "home" to many refugees from around the world. We are a "no excuses" school, where our school Family ALL believe that every student is college bound! We believe that we are responsible for preparing students for life after high school, starting as early as Kindergarten. Every morning our students chant, "After high school...comes college!" My classroom consists of 50% Spanish speakers, and 50% English/ELL speakers. Half of my students day is in Spanish and half of their day is in English! My students are a group of hands-on learners, who have a need for structure, and manipulatives to engage them in learning!
