Distance Learning Support Tools
Funded Dec 1, 2020Your generosity has helped both last years class and my current 3rd grade class! With your support, we have had supplies to help the students fill learning gaps, work on new concepts, and meet their basic needs.
The headphones have helped the students learn without distractions! They were durable to withstand travel between home and school, and they have just been so helpful to students in the home and school settings!
The erasers and the markers have given the students the ability to have hands on tools to write spelling words, sight words, and even solve math problems. The books have given the students specific supports to meet their individual learning needs.
I am beyond grateful for your support! Without you, our classrooms would be empty! Thank you for support my class. I really appreciate you!”

Funded Dec 1, 2020This has honestly been a whirlwind of a year! With online learning to in-person learning, it has been something that has honestly made the history books! With all of that said, I sincerely apologize that it took so long to send this thank you, but I can honestly say that all of your generous contributions have helped me and my class make it through this insane school year!
These materials have helped both in our online and in-person learning experiences! The kids had the opportunity to use the paper learning materials for their homework and class practice activities (especially when their internet was unreliable). The storage totes helped organize the materials in the classroom during the online to in-person transition, and the children loved the flexible seating balls when they returned for in-person learning!
If I could, I wish I could of bottled up their smiles and excitement when they walked into the class and saw the flexible seating options! Between the excitement of being back at school, and the presence of the colorful balls at their desk, they were literally astounded! Your generosity provided them with these special tools that really made a huge difference in their focus and learning experience! I cannot thank you enough! You made their school year special! Funded Oct 22, 2020I genuinely appreciate your incredible generosity. With the support of these materials, my students are able to work on reading and math materials that fill gaps and enhance their learning. In my class, my students need reteaching and reintroductions to some reading, writing, and math skills. These texts have given them the opportunity to catch up on some of those skills and be more successful in their learning.
In a virtual setting our reading looks a little different. Sometimes we are using textbooks that are mirrored on their laptops and other times we are using just the laptops. Having tangible materials really helps the students. Getting to use books and have a break from the screen really benefits them.
As a whole, each of my students really appreciates having access to these physical books. Although doing online learning has become easier with 7 months of practice, they still enjoy getting to the new provided opportunities to write and enhance their penmanship skills with the support of these tools.

During these challenging times, the limited time to prepare for summer school left us scrambling for supplies. With your help, you provided us with reading, writing, and math tools!
These tools came promptly and helped my students have hands-on and physical learning materials that they used during the entire summer school programs! I cannot thank you enough for providing us with these materials that provided my students with optimal learning opportunities.

STEAM and Learning Games in the Classroom
Funded Mar 25, 2019Thank you so much for your generous contributions! Without you the classroom would be an empty place! You guys have made the learning process a fun, unique, hands-on experience! Both me and my students are so grateful for your kind contributions! Words cannot express how much of much of an impact this has made for my students! Your donations has funded fun math and reading games for my students that have peaked their interest in sight words, multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction! My students favorite part of the day is getting to play the Addition POP Game! In this game the students spin a spinner, pick their assigned number of bubbles, and solve addition problems! This game has supported their addition fluency and turn taking skills. The games have increased student knowledge and engagement! Students who were previously hesitant to participate, now want to actively engage in the learning activities!
These items have also supported the students in my after school club! The Osmo Pizza games have helped support their math skills, the Osmo Creative kits have sparked creativity, and the Osmo Detective game has promoted enhanced thinking skills! The students got to experience coding with the robots Dot and Dash, and they have even created their own video games with Star Wars Bloxels!
When the boxes first arrived, it literally took every single student in my class to help bring them from the office to our class! We made like 3-4 trips! The students were flabbergasted! They loved opening the boxes and even playing with the bubble wrap! They climbed inside the boxes, and it was like the greatest unboxing party ever! One of the students stated "it was way better than Christmas"! Joy filled the classroom, and the students made plans of which new item they wanted to try out first! This was an overload for some of the kids! They genuinely felt like someone cared for them and valued their learning experiences!
All of these items will be put to good use! The lockers will provide a safe place to store the robots and the technology devices, and all of the the games will encourage students to gain math and reading skills and find out that learning is a fun and rewarding experience! As we approach the end of the year and go into the beginning of next year, I am going to use these items to create centers for my students. Some of the Osmos will be used as a math station, the math games with be another station, and the robots and other Osmos and robots will be used as a creative learning/STEAM center! These pieces really help make a fun learning room and experience for my students! Without you, this project could have never become a reality! Thank you for making my dream for my class come true!”

Funded Jan 25, 2018First off, I want to say how grateful I am that you have provided my students with the most amazing, fun, and exciting hands on learning experience! The field trip was an absolute success! I really don't think the kids knew what to expect, but some of them had never even ventured that far out of Albuquerque before!!! It was absolutely exciting for them to ride the bus, see the wildlife, and every other landmark we passed along the way!!
We broke up the students into several small groups and the fun began from there. The kids got to hear, see, and touch absolutely everything in sight! They got to climb under, walk across, and go through many dimensions of the exhibit! It was fascinating! The excitement levels were on overdrive! After touring the many rooms and trying to grasp a whole new level of art, the exhausted students were just flabbergasted with memories of "cool things" and unique experiences that was literally a once in a lifetime event for them!
After we explored, we met at the rendezvous point! In that fun filled room, the students got to make art of their own! They got to design pictures, color, make various crafts, and build stuff! They were so inspired and excited!! Words really can't describe how grateful I am that my students got to have this amazing opportunity! Thank you for your wonderful support! You make learning and teaching a positive experience!”

Funded Jan 25, 2018These new resources have provided both my students and my after school gardening club students with the supplies they need to be successful and learn about gardening, science, and math!
My class was having a lot of trouble with the concept of time, place value, and money, and now with the tools that we have received, the concepts are now easier for them to comprehend.
Both my second and third grade students were working on place value and were struggling to grasp the idea of how many numbers were in the hundreds place or what zero meant when it was in the tens place, but now with the flip chart they understand the concept so much better. The chart has helped them with adding, comparing number values, and understanding the value of each number.
The other math tools like the clock, multiplication cards, toy money, and charts have just provided the students with new ways to look at the math process and how to relate things to each other. I think the new clock we received has made telling time such an easier process for the kids! They absolutely love it, and they no longer have to ask me what time it is! They can tell time independently now!
They adore their storage bins because now we can better organize the stuff in our class! The bins are used every single day, and clutter of our daily supplies has really been cut down!!
Our geography workbooks are amazing because they have happened to almost match up to some of the stuff we are learning in science. It is amazing how supportive all this stuff is and without you, we wouldn't have access to this stuff!
Words cannot describe how thankful I am! You making teaching a better experience because you provide me with the supplies I need to better support my students! Funded Jul 18, 2017Words cannot describe how grateful I am for your financial support. This was the first project I had created and it was such an absolute success. Your support provided my classroom with a multitude of useful supplies that would benefit the lives of not only my current students, but the many students to be in my class over the next few years.
When word came that I was going to have the project funded, we were on summer vacation. It was like a dream come true! I remember thinking to myself this can't be real! It was a few days after my birthday, and I thought to myself what a great present this is! I was so excited, the feeling was almost unreal!
These supplies have come in at a perfect time! With your generosity, my students pretty much got to have Christmas in the class everyday for about a week straight! When the first boxes came, the students were a little bit surprised. We had never received mail for the class. They were filled with excitement and anticipation. The UPS man came in the class to scan the box and I just remembered them being so excited that the guy had brought them these boxes with unknown items. When the time came to open them, it was almost time for them to go to their pull out classes, so I thought well we have all these boxes, let's open a few so they can see what's inside. The first thing to arrive were their bouncy ball chairs! The kids were so excited to fill them up with air! Each ball had their own air pump and the kids got to fill up their own balls. They were ecstatic! They immediately tried out the chairs and fell in love! The other supplies came within the week and the kids were just so joyful and excited that they would be receiving new learning tools! They got numerous learning games, sensory toys, a visual schedule (that has helped so much), a robot, iPad learning tools, books, flexible seating, and bouncy bands for their desks! These tools have helped my students so much! We are so grateful for your support! Thank you for supporting the lives of my students and helping them improve their educational setting!”
