The students are a mixed population of mainly White, African American, and Hispanic students. The students are driven by sports and hands-on learning. They are willing to work hard with the help of a few school-wide incentives. The school is a warm, caring environment that supports respect, readiness to learn, and reflection. Many of our young boys aspire to play professional sports and many of our young ladies want to be doctors. We believe that by supporting them with positive incentives that interest them they are more likely to reach those goals.
