The Scholastic classroom library books and the cl;ass subscription to TIME for Kids magazines will help my 5th grade have a variety of materials high quality reading materials as well as access to articles that will inspire them with positive ideas. I chose these reading materials to supplement our classroom library, literacy circles, and science/social studies. The TIME magazines provide current topics for students to explore informational texts. The Scholastic books will add more interest for our choosy readers providing engaging titles & popular authors that students tend to read more often. We will use these books for literacy circles - book clubs. These resources will really add to our library.

About my class
