Hi everyone. This school is a Title I school and services diverse students whom many are living at the poverty level. These students face many challenges on a daily basis which sometimes makes learning difficult. I believe having a community art project that my students can learn to give is an important life skill. Students will be reaching out to the community by designing and creating soup bowls that they can donate to a local homeless shelter. I think that when students create a bowl to give they will start to see that giving can come in many shapes and forms and that it does not have to cost a lot of money to give.
