This year our students are using new programs that need them to speak into the computer for TELPAS (Bilingual) ratings. We are using Flipgrid on a regular basis. It is a more uniform way of listening to the students for the listening domain of the English proficiency before we rate them. We also use another program called Reading A-Z which allows the student to be self paced in a literacy computer based program. They enjoy using it, but having all our computers and laptops going at once is very chaotic (not to mention noisy). We love our technology programs but are in need of headphones to implement them correctly. The headphones will help to keep the noise level down and students will be able to focus on the work in front of them when they don't have to hear of the noise of everyone around them.
