The furniture and room planner will be a much needed resource to help my students with learning such concepts as space planning, circulation patterns, reading floor plans, and furniture arrangement. The planner will allow my students to do hands-on projects while creating professional floor plans. It will allow them to create different furniture layouts and customize the flooring of the rooms. The use of this resource will aid my students while they learn and understand the state standards and complete their performance objectives. It will be used as both a formative and summative assessment check. Instead of cutting and pasting furniture, my students will be able to reuse the peel-and-stick drawings over and over again.
