Thank you for your constant support if my classroom! It means SO much to me that you take the time to support my students every year. These students work so hard and I’m so thankful that they have people in the community that support them! We really appreciate it!”

  • Classroom Supplies

    Funded Feb 22, 2023

Thank you so much for all your constant support! I appreciate you donating to my classroom. It will be so nice to have more resources to help my students learn better. I also am excited to be able to organize my supplies better for me and for my students. Supporting a classroom financially can be really hard and expensive for teachers, so having your support means so much to me! Thank you so much for all of your continual support into my student's learning and their classroom. It truly means so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Wright

  • Center Supplies

    Funded Oct 9, 2022

Thank you so much for your very generous donations! It has been so helpful to be able to print what I need for my students and their activities. I would not have been able to do that on my own.

I now have differentiated center work for each of my students to do because of this project! That means that when students are out working in their groups, their activities are exactly at their needs and I can print out specific things that they need to work on.

I cannot say thank you enough for your continual support! It means so much.”

  • Mentor Texts for Shared Reading!

    Funded May 16, 2022

Thank you so much for donating to my project! I am so excited to use these resources to help teach my students different skills. The books will focus on things like comprehension, understanding emotions, connecting with others, story structure, inspiring writers, etc. The mentor text that accompanies these books gives sample lesson plans on how to effectively teach the skills needed with included vocabulary words and focus points. I am so excited to use these strategies with my students!

I am constantly amazed at the support I receive for my classroom. Thank you SO much.”

  • Classroom Supplies

    Funded Nov 28, 2020

Thank you once again for your donations! Since receiving the supplies from my DonorsChoose project, I have been able to implement more strategies and help my students continue to learn while also being socially distanced. I have appreciated being able to store each student's things separately to help stop the spread of any germs.

This is definitely a unique year to be teaching, and I am so thankful for your willingness to support education during this time! I am continually thankful for you all and supporting me and my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Wright

  • Lap-Tastic Learning!

    Funded Jul 15, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous donation! We started the school year virtually, but we will go back in person within the week! Having these supplies will make it so that all of my students can have individual supplies as well as stay socially distanced from each other. This is a unique year, and teaching and learning will be no different. I cannot express enough how thankful I am to have these resources to be able to better teach my students through this pandemic.

The colored lap desks will be the most helpful in my opinion. Because of the desks, I will still be able to differentiate instruction while I am still keeping them 6 feet apart.

Again, thank you! We'll make it through this year with support from people like you!”

    Ms. Wright

  • Classroom Supplies and Flexible Seating

    Funded Oct 11, 2019

Thank you so much for the supplies and components for flexible seating!

The supplies are incredibly helpful for creating projects and things for my class. I often create packets of things that we work on over time to practice letters, letter sounds, along with other necessary skill. The electric stapler makes these projects much easier to get ready for the students and I can complete them much faster!

The wiggle bands for the chairs have been amazing! I have incorporated flexible seating in my classroom, which means that students can sit anywhere around the room that helps their brain learn and focus the most. These bands create an option for the group that allows them to move and bounce their feet while they are working, which also helps their focus.

I cannot thank you enough for donating to this project! Each item will help students learn and I am so appreciative of your help!”

    Ms. Wright

  • Cool Stools For School

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

This project has been so helpful in our classroom!

We had a loss in funding from our district and state this year, so our class sizes have gone up! This project has allowed me to fully implement flexible seating in my classroom. This means that I have no assigned seats and students are able to sit in the areas around the classroom that help them learn best. I have seen such an increase in engagement from my students since giving them the choice to sit around the room. The stools allow for movement while students work, and also increases their core muscles. The lap desks let students work around the room in places they can focus best. The bins act as a storage place for each student's work since they no longer have assigned seats.

Each of these items has and will continue to have incredible impact on each student's education.”

    Ms. Wright

  • Technology for Interactive Learning

    Funded May 8, 2017

First of all, I cannot begin to thank you enough for your generosity in donating to our classroom. Having these resources will make a big difference in the learning of these students!

Many of the students at our school come to school with very low oral language development which directly impacts their reading and writing. One of the apps that we have downloaded on our iPads are books on tape that match the curriculum. These books are leveled books that students can read, but it also has the option to have the stories read aloud. This function allows students to hear and read the stories in many different options to increase their chance of learning and retaining the information.

We were also able to download some fine motor apps to help students gain muscles in their hands that help with their writing.

These iPads have already made a huge difference in our classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Wright

I teach at the lowest income school of my district and have a rambunctious class. I attempt to connect any academic learning I can so that no time is wasted in my classroom. Each student is offered free breakfast and free lunch at my school, but few of them also come to school without have eaten any dinner. It is difficult to push and challenge my students to the best of my abilities when they are concerned about when their next meal will be.
