  • Reduce the Glare, Make the Light Shine!

    Thank you so much for contributing to my classroom project. The new light covers have helped my students greatly. We are able to work in our classroom with the lights on. Students are able to see the the Smart board screen, while working on their assignments at the same time. We are truly grateful for your thoughtfulness! The first day the light covers were installed, my students were enamored with them. They kept looking up at the ceiling in amazement. They said it makes our classroom look cool! Your generosity has given my students the ability to work without experiencing headaches from the awful lighting in the classroom. I am truly appreciative for your contributions.”

  • One Student, One Book, One Changed World!

    Dear Donors,

    Thank you so much for your generous donations! My students began school with below basic reading skills and thanks to your support are truly flourishing. They enjoy choosing books that they are interested in the topics. This has helped them begin the process of reading, because they are eager to know what the books say. Their favorites seem to be The Elephant and Piggy series, although I have a few friends who seem to enjoy the Science and animal topics. The Scholastic Reader's have really helped to extend our learning. We have read about the life cycle of an apple and made applesauce. We've also learned about rules, pumpkins, fall, and fire safety. We will be learning about the voting process and will be reading "Duck for President" as an extension to the Scholastic Readers. Thank you so much for making my year wonderful and helping my students grow!”
