When I am working, I love being able to choose where I sit and for how long I stay there to complete what I am working on. I believe children should have the same opportunity. With more seating options in the classroom, the students will be provided with a choice of where to work and be able to move in their seat as well. The perfect "seat" to work may look different for everyone- a hard chair, wiggle dot, stool, bean bag or a wiggle seat. I am hoping to provide seating options that will increase student engagement and motivation all while enabling them to learn in an environment where they are happy and have a voice that is heard. I truly believe the students will love being able to choose the type of seat they sit on while working in our "second home" :). I am excited to watch the engagement and excitement increase in our classroom with the new flexible seating options.
