  • Pocket Charts and Stand

    Funded Jul 5, 2005

WOW! Thank you so much for your generous donation! I can't wait to use the chart stand and pocket charts this upcoming year. I can already think of many uses for the pocket charts, especially the hundreds chart. My students will be able to discover on their own how to count by 2's, 5's, and 10's. They will be able to see the patterns! When we study money, the money chart will be just perfect!

    Thank you again!

THANK YOU so much for your donation! I am thrilled to have subscriptions to this magazine for my students. I have heard only too often from parents, "We don't have anything to read." Now I can change that with your donation. My students will always have an article, poem, or story to read out of the magazine.

    Thank you again!

WOW!!! Thank you so much for all of these wonderful manipulatives! I can't wait until they arrive and the kids can dig in. Since we are in the middle of the year, they can sort by color, but they still have a hard time sorting items by other ways. These manipulatives will help so much!!

I am lucky that over the years I have built a very large and extensive classroom library. My students love all the book choices they have. I also have many primary kid magazines. Each time students choose books, they can choose magazines to read. The students love to look at the pictures in the magazines, but they also love that they are capable of reading the actual words in the magazines. The problem is that over the years, my magazines have started to fall apart. Most of my magazines don't have covers any more, or they are just torn up. I am constantly going through and throwing away the old magazines. I am requesting subscriptions to kid friendly magazines: Ladybug, Cricket, National Geographic Kids, American Girls, Ranger Rick, Highlights, and Boys Life.
