Technology for Research and Enrichment

Dearest Donors,

The use of technology in the classroom is essential. The Samsung Galaxy Tablets Tab A that have been donated to my classroom has given my gifted students the opportunity to not only enhance their research skills, but also to enhance their knowledge of technology. It has given them the opportunity to learn how to work in cooperative groups, as well as how to be responsible.

The most exciting part in using the Samsung Galaxy Tablets Tab A for my students is that they loved completing their research with the tablets, as opposed to using desktop computers. They were able to take it with them to other areas in the classroom and their movement was not limited. It gave them the freedom to show information that was found not only to other group members, but also to other groups that may have needed additional assistance. It became a teaching tool.

Because my students are gifted, they require enrichment strategies. This was one way that I could integrate enrichment into the curriculum, and nurture their love of learning. On behalf of my students, thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
