Having individual mailboxes will help students to build responsibility and organization skills. The students will be provided a space where all their graded work, daily projects, homework and parent communication can be placed. This will develop responsibility and routine which promotes independence and real life skills. Having a place to store their classroom resources will also promote organizational skills and provide them positive practice in preparing for the end of the day exiting routine. The privacy boards will allow each student personal space as well as the opportunity to focus on the task at hand. Fifth graders have the enormous responsibility of all the state testing. These privacy boards will allow students to focus and promote their success on their tests.
