The characters Tim and Moby (Tim's robot) are fantastic at explaining how things work, and causes and effects in science, art, social studies, and more. The characters are so fun and they make learning easy to understand and exciting for the students. I used BrainPop at my last school (we had a school-wide account), and the kids loved it (as did I). There are Brain Pop lessons for almost everything you can imagine, and it is a wonderful supplement to summarize what you have been teaching or as an introduction to a new unit.
