5th Grade Stem Creations
Funded Nov 6, 2023Thank you so much for the wonderful donations. We are currently learning how to use the Cricut machine. We have download the the app and learning to create Travis Tiger imagines.
The kids were so excited to learn to use the cricut and create bag or fun items to take on our 5th grade camping trip. The kids are currently learning to use the machine and coming up with project for us to use in the coming weeks. I can't wait to see what they make!

Math/Science Stations and Project Base Learning.
Funded Oct 10, 2018Thank you so much for all the items our class received. My students were so excited, and have been using the flexible seating. They have enjoyed playing all the learning games in their math stations. My students are so excited to have a pencil sharpener that works!
We have enhanced our classroom stations and our science labs with all the materials that were sent. My students are more engaged in what they are learning because we are now able to make the connections they understand. So thank you so much for your support.”

Funded Nov 6, 2017Thank you so much for your generosity! The class has been so excited to have a printer! Our class has completed a few projects in class where they have wanted to print their work, and now they can. As we continue through the year we (the class and I) look forward to utilizing the printer to push our learning! We have a really cool solar system project coming up later in the year that student will need to do research on, and they now will have the means to print their research and work! Thank you so much for supporting my students this year we have had a great start to the year!”

Computer Coding and Programming!
Funded Oct 2, 2017My students are so excited to have an i-pads for them to use. For two years they have wanted to explore computer coding. We will finally have a chance to create math programs not only for their fellow students but for future students.
My students were beyond excited to hear that they would be able to have an i-pad for them to use in math/science class. They are wanting to use math coding to create math games and projects that their fellow classmates can use in class for stations.
I have a group of students that not only excited to use the i-pad in class but also wanted to start a computer coding class. My students are over the moon to make their project happen. Thank you!”

Girls Making Math And Science Hands On!
Funded Aug 31, 2017My students have been so excited to have the science equipment to complete labs. My classes have complete labs on force and motion science labs. The measured the distance a car was able to go based on where the incline they made. My students loved being able to explore the concept in a hand on way.
When my classes noticed that we had new material for science they were so excited. They could not wait to use the science materials. They also loved their Big Joe chairs that they could use! My students are motivated to learn more.
We plan on going to the science lab through the year so the my students can continue to explore different science concepts. Next up for us is magnets!”

Funded Oct 13, 2015I am so grateful for the generosity that your company has shown my class. I have the privilege to teacher math and science to 3rd graders. I wanted to show my student that reading in important in all classes and build a library that would encourage them to love reading. My students are motivated an excited to read all the amazing books, and they love walking into the classroom and check out books. They love talking about the book that they are reading with each other, and setting goals as to the next book that they want to read. My students are valuing and learning to enjoy reading.
My classes were excited to explore the world with their subscription to Time for Kids magazine. I wanted to expose my student to the news in the world. Through Time for Kids, I am able to expose them to what's going on in the world in a way that they can understand and peaks their interest. My student wait for their issue, and they love teaming up with their reading buddy and exploring. They have learned to ask questions which pushes their thinking beyond text books. My students are making connections to what they learn social studies and science to what they are reading in Time for Kids.
In my math class we use Everyday Math, it is a math program that helps develop numeracy. It is a researched based curriculum that is pushing my students to look at math in a different way. I am able to show many different strategies using the calculators that we received. My students use the calculators to see and develop patterns in numbers.
I am so grateful the amazing gifts that my students have received. The impact on my classroom has been tremendous. Thank you again!”
