  • Soccer Season

    Funded Dec 10, 2024

On behalf of our middle school soccer program, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of soccer balls and coaching cards. Your contribution is a wonderful gift to our student-athletes, and its impact will resonate both on and off the field.

Soccer is more than just a game at our school. It's a way for students to build character, develop teamwork, and learn valuable life skills like discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Your donation will help us continue fostering these qualities in our players while enhancing their experience in the sport they love.

The soccer balls will be put to immediate use, providing our boys' and girls' teams with high-quality equipment for practices and games. Having enough balls ensures that each player has ample opportunity to participate in drills, work on individual skills, and improve their overall technique. This not only strengthens their abilities but also boosts their confidence. For many of our students, soccer is their favorite part of the day—a time when they can focus, engage, and feel part of something bigger than themselves.

The coaching cards are another valuable resource that will have a significant impact. These cards equip our coaches with strategies, drills, and training exercises to bring out the best in our players. They'll also provide creative ways to keep practices fresh, engaging, and effective. Our coaches are dedicated volunteers who give their time and energy to support these young athletes, and your thoughtful donation makes their efforts even more impactful.

For many of our students, access to quality sports programs is life-changing. Soccer provides them with a safe and structured environment to grow physically, mentally, and socially. It teaches them how to set goals, overcome challenges, and work collaboratively toward success. The lessons they learn on the field translate directly into the classroom and their everyday lives.

Your support also shows our students that their community cares about their growth and success. It reminds them that they are valued and supported, which is incredibly motivating. They see that people beyond their immediate circle believe in their potential, and that belief can make all the difference.

Once again, thank you for investing in our students and our soccer program. Your kindness and generosity will inspire our players to work hard, dream big, and give their best—both on and off the field. Please know that you are making a lasting difference in the lives of these young athletes, and we are deeply grateful.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. R.

  • HEPA Air For Students

    Funded Aug 24, 2024

Clean air plays a crucial role in creating a healthy, productive learning environment in classrooms. The air quality in a room significantly impacts the well-being of students and teachers, affecting everything from cognitive function to overall comfort and health. Therefore, the addition of a new air purifier and fresh filters is a game-changer, and I am immensely thankful for this enhancement to my classroom. The clean air is vital for maintaining a healthy, comfortable, and productive learning environment. The addition of a new air purifier and filters is a valuable asset in ensuring that my classroom stays free from allergens, pollutants, and harmful germs. For these reasons, I am deeply thankful to have this tool at my disposal, as it allows me to create a safer and more effective space for learning.”

  • Type Type

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

First off, having a keyboard with my classroom/ student's iPad has really improved my typing efficiency. Instead of struggling with the on-screen keyboard, everyone can now type much faster and more accurately with the physical keys. This has made a big difference when everyone is taking notes during lectures or working on essays and research papers. It's amazing how much smoother and quicker things go with a real keyboard.

Overall, using the keyboard with my iPad has made a huge difference. It's not just about typing faster; it's about creating a more flexible and productive learning environment. So thank you again.”

    Funded Aug 15, 2023

Thank you for giving to my project. You and the companies involved with bringing this project to life are always such a nice surprise for us as educators in the United States, especially our impoverished corner of the desert southwest. Working at a Title 1 School means that asking our local families for support is often a non-starter. I want to express that we as teacher appreciate everything that you and the companies do with donors choose to make sure that everyone at my school and schools around the country have what we need.”

It is always so great to be able to give back to those around me who do all the work. I like to think that everyone that got the items from this project was able to enjoy them and found it to be well worth the investment from our financial partners and donors choose. It is only because people and organizations like yourselves that we as teachers are able to put on so many extra things. It really does make a difference in the way the school feels and acts when we know that more that just us teachers care about the school and the people in it.”

When the classroom is given such a lovely donation we are always appreciative. It takes a team of people like you and corporate sponsor to make sure that I am able to do things in my classroom that are above an beyond what the normal teacher does. Giving to someone is the truest way to show what is really important to you and by giving to my classroom you are showing me that education and my students future learning is important you you. I know that this short message is not enough but I hope that you will consider giving in the future as well.”

A good majority of these supplies are to complete our end of the quarter project during out civil rights era. The students will be learning about the advancements of civil rights along with the changing culture of the 1960's and as a culminating activity. I invite the entire 8th grade to make tie dye shirts to go along with this lesson. So not only am I improving my students lives but also working on the other 300 students from around the school. Since I am doing the entire school this is why I am focusing so much of my potential resources towards this one project with dyes and gloves. The adaptors are to make my students electronics more compatible with my projector. By having adaptors my student can show more concrete examples of the work they are doing on the big screen making them feel like a part of the educational experience. The remainder (most of the other technology) is for ongoing activities in the classroom along with replacing some items that have either worn out or have been stolen. I believe that the students stole these items out of desperation and I need to replace them in order to keep my classroom running as efficiently as possible. So by you supporting me you are supporting the needed students of my room and should be expecting some great return letters probably with pictures using those colored pencils that you helped to buy.
