  • The Team Needs Some STEaM

    Funded Feb 15, 2025

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our "The Team Needs Some STEaM" project. The materials you provided—including glow sticks, a solar radio, a mineral and geodes kit, a graffiti robot, and various batteries—will be instrumental in bringing STEM learning to life in our classroom.

These hands-on resources will help my students explore real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and math in exciting ways. The glow sticks will be a great tool for teaching chemical reactions and energy transfer, while the solar radio will help students understand renewable energy and solar power in action. The mineral and geode kit will allow students to engage in geology and earth science investigations, giving them the opportunity to break open geodes and analyze rock formations. The graffiti robot will introduce coding and robotics in a fun, interactive way, sparking creativity and problem-solving skills.

Your generosity is making a meaningful impact on my students, fostering curiosity and a love of learning. Thank you for helping us bring STEM education to life!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. R.

  • Going and Growing

    Funded Sep 18, 2024

Fun snacks do so much more than just satisfy hunger—they create a positive and welcoming environment where students feel excited and motivated. A simple treat can turn an ordinary day into something special, giving students a boost of energy and enthusiasm. Whether it's a reward for participation, a way to celebrate achievements, or just a little pick-me-up during a long school day, these snacks help keep spirits high and engagement strong.

Additionally, having snacks available helps students stay focused. A hungry student is a distracted student, and providing a fun, tasty option helps keep their energy up so they can fully participate in lessons. Sometimes, a little burst of excitement from a favorite treat is all it takes to re-energize the room and keep learning on track.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. R.

  • Snacking Super Students

    Funded Nov 28, 2024

I want to sincerely thank you for your generous donation of snacks for my students. Your kindness and thoughtfulness have made such a positive impact in our classroom, and I truly appreciate it.

The high-protein snacks, especially the nuts and other nutritious options, have been a game-changer for my students. A busy school day requires a lot of energy, and having healthy snacks available helps them stay focused, engaged, and ready to learn. Rather than struggling through lessons on an empty stomach, they now have access to nourishing foods that keep them feeling full and energized. It's amazing to see how something as simple as a snack can make such a big difference in their ability to concentrate and participate in class.”

  • Plant STEM Pumps

    Funded Nov 28, 2024

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of water pumps to keep our classroom plants thriving. Your kindness has made a meaningful impact on both our learning environment and our students' connection to nature.

Having healthy, thriving plants in the classroom does more than just brighten the space—it provides a hands-on way for students to learn about responsibility, ecosystems, and sustainability. However, keeping plants alive in a busy classroom can be a challenge, especially when schedules get hectic, or weekends and school breaks disrupt our usual watering routine. Thanks to your thoughtful gift, we no longer have to worry about our plants suffering from neglect. The water pumps ensure they receive consistent care, allowing them to grow strong and healthy.”

  • Fun With Finances

    Funded Nov 28, 2024

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your generous contribution of candy, especially the dollar-sign-themed treats and the box of PayDay bars. Your thoughtful donation has made teaching economics not only easier but also much more engaging and fun for my students.

Economics can sometimes feel abstract, but using candy as a hands-on learning tool brings the subject to life in a way that truly resonates with students. The dollar-sign candy helps them make instant connections to money, trade, and value, while the PayDay bars provide a perfect way to discuss wages, income, and financial decision-making. It's incredible to see their excitement when they realize that economic principles—like supply and demand, opportunity cost, and incentives—play out right in front of them through something as simple as a piece of candy.”

  • Soccer Season

    Funded Dec 10, 2024

On behalf of our middle school soccer program, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of soccer balls and coaching cards. Your contribution is a wonderful gift to our student-athletes, and its impact will resonate both on and off the field.

Soccer is more than just a game at our school. It's a way for students to build character, develop teamwork, and learn valuable life skills like discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Your donation will help us continue fostering these qualities in our players while enhancing their experience in the sport they love.

The soccer balls will be put to immediate use, providing our boys' and girls' teams with high-quality equipment for practices and games. Having enough balls ensures that each player has ample opportunity to participate in drills, work on individual skills, and improve their overall technique. This not only strengthens their abilities but also boosts their confidence. For many of our students, soccer is their favorite part of the day—a time when they can focus, engage, and feel part of something bigger than themselves.

The coaching cards are another valuable resource that will have a significant impact. These cards equip our coaches with strategies, drills, and training exercises to bring out the best in our players. They'll also provide creative ways to keep practices fresh, engaging, and effective. Our coaches are dedicated volunteers who give their time and energy to support these young athletes, and your thoughtful donation makes their efforts even more impactful.

For many of our students, access to quality sports programs is life-changing. Soccer provides them with a safe and structured environment to grow physically, mentally, and socially. It teaches them how to set goals, overcome challenges, and work collaboratively toward success. The lessons they learn on the field translate directly into the classroom and their everyday lives.

Your support also shows our students that their community cares about their growth and success. It reminds them that they are valued and supported, which is incredibly motivating. They see that people beyond their immediate circle believe in their potential, and that belief can make all the difference.

Once again, thank you for investing in our students and our soccer program. Your kindness and generosity will inspire our players to work hard, dream big, and give their best—both on and off the field. Please know that you are making a lasting difference in the lives of these young athletes, and we are deeply grateful.”

  • HEPA Air For Students

    Funded Aug 24, 2024

Clean air plays a crucial role in creating a healthy, productive learning environment in classrooms. The air quality in a room significantly impacts the well-being of students and teachers, affecting everything from cognitive function to overall comfort and health. Therefore, the addition of a new air purifier and fresh filters is a game-changer, and I am immensely thankful for this enhancement to my classroom. The clean air is vital for maintaining a healthy, comfortable, and productive learning environment. The addition of a new air purifier and filters is a valuable asset in ensuring that my classroom stays free from allergens, pollutants, and harmful germs. For these reasons, I am deeply thankful to have this tool at my disposal, as it allows me to create a safer and more effective space for learning.”

A good majority of these supplies are to complete our end of the quarter project during out civil rights era. The students will be learning about the advancements of civil rights along with the changing culture of the 1960's and as a culminating activity. I invite the entire 8th grade to make tie dye shirts to go along with this lesson. So not only am I improving my students lives but also working on the other 300 students from around the school. Since I am doing the entire school this is why I am focusing so much of my potential resources towards this one project with dyes and gloves. The adaptors are to make my students electronics more compatible with my projector. By having adaptors my student can show more concrete examples of the work they are doing on the big screen making them feel like a part of the educational experience. The remainder (most of the other technology) is for ongoing activities in the classroom along with replacing some items that have either worn out or have been stolen. I believe that the students stole these items out of desperation and I need to replace them in order to keep my classroom running as efficiently as possible. So by you supporting me you are supporting the needed students of my room and should be expecting some great return letters probably with pictures using those colored pencils that you helped to buy.
