Camera, Lights, Action!
Funded Sep 3, 2021Thank you so much for your donations. My students love the document camera. It has become the most popular center for my children. We use it for everything, from art to language arts, to math. The children are excited to use it and show off their work. I have noticed that the children who are most timid or are not confident in their art skills, want to draw and create under the document camera. I have used it as a way to have the children "on TV." The children have acted out stories I have read on the document camera. This is an important skill for little ones. It shows that they have an understanding of the story that was read to them. When I have done interactive story retells in the past, the children would get shy and be unwilling to participate. Now, everyone wants a turn in front of the document camera. Thank you so much for your donations. It means the world to me and my students.”

Funded Mar 21, 2017We are always completing projects on our new tables. We know longer have to worry about the tables wobbling anymore or if one of the legs are going to fall off.
When the tables came in the students were so excited and I had to rotate students so every student was able to have a chance to sit at it. We now have enough tables for all of the students to work collaboratively together.
We are so grateful for all the generosity and my students could not be happier than they are right now. Thank you!”

1st Graders Needing More Center Fun!
Funded Mar 9, 2016My students and I are having so much fun using hands on materials as an alternative to boring worksheets. They are not only learning but having fun while doing it. They look forward towards reading centers everyday.
As soon as we received all these wonder full learning games, we couldn't wait to just dive in. Each box has many different activities to peek their interest. We couldn't be happier with the donations that were given so we could purchase these wonderful materials.
The students are not only learning with these wonderful hands on materials but they are also able to self assess themselves using these materials.”
