  • Engaging Resources With TPT

    Funded Feb 21, 2022

Being able to purchase resources from TpT has been wonderful! I am so excited to be able to enhance and provide more engaging lesson for my students within each content area. I have been able to give my ELL student's visuals for key vocabulary words so that the vocabulary "sticks" and that they have a ready point of reference when they are working. I love the station rotation board that is used for extended math time and small group math stations during our math block. Students are able to quickly finds their station while I conduct guided math small groups. We have been able to enhance our writing with creative writing prompts and fun lap books for social studies.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. W.

  • Leaps and Bounds With Book Bins!

    Funded Dec 31, 2021

Thank you so much! The book bins have helped my students stay organized and keep the books that they like to read close by. The students were so surprised when they opened the bins and saw all of the new, green book bin and they lit up with excitement! We really needed book bins for our class of 28 first graders. My students are excited to choose books weekly that let them practice their reading skills an to choose books of interest. Students are learning how to buddy read as well as practice building their independent reading stamina. I am so excited to see how far my students have come with reading!”

  • Ipad Strikes (Stations) Again!-Part One

    Funded Dec 31, 2021

Being able to have an Ipad in class has helped tremendously with testing and other activities in class that require technology. My students have been able to complete district testing, such as Renaissance360 and complete I-Ready assessments and activities. We have also been able to use the ipad for several interactive activities, such as Osmo and Plugo activities during station rotations. My students have also been able to read more digital content on Epic!, which they really enjoy. Without the ipad, my students would not have access to such diverse content and they would not be able to practice digital literacy. Thank you so much for making our dream of digital literacy become a reality!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. W.

  • VersaTiles Make Learning Versatile!

    Funded Jun 12, 2021

Thank you so much for your donation to my project. While VersaTiles were not available, I was able to choose replacement items. I was able to replace my old printer because I do copy a lot for my Firsties and the printer comes in handy. I received sheet protectors which have really helped this year with student materials. Each student has a Rise and Shine binder for morning work, and the sheet protectors allow the students to wipe and write without always having to make copies. The flair pens are every teachers dream and they help me to add color to my day!”

  • Osmo, What? Measurement and Addition!

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Thank you! My students thoroughly enjoy learning with Osmo! It is teaching them how to follow directions and measure items using non standard units of measurement. Whenever the opportunity for independent activities arise, they always request Osmo to practice necessary skills. Osmo allows them to interact with the characters on the screen as well as use manipulative to practice and arrive at the correct answer. The really cool thing is that they don't realize that they are learning. To them, they are just "playing outside of the screen". Without your generous donation, these activities would not be possible.”

  • Learning, Connecting, And Doing!

    Funded Oct 1, 2020

Thank you so much for donating an iPad to my class! Because of COVID restrictions, students are not allowed to collaborate or share materials or devices. This iPad gives one of my student's the opportunity to actively participate in class by completing the digital activities that I assign as well as join in on our Microsoft Teams learning groups. Without support from donors like you, my student would not have access to the curriculum and materials necessary to engage in class. Thank you for helping to bring my ESL student tools to further his learning experience.”

  • Plugo Link and Find It, Go!

    Funded May 6, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous donation! As you are aware, this school year has started with many challenges with students and personal supplies. Once students are safely able to utilize the materials, Find It, Go! will allow my students who have challenges with attention and focus to practice paying attention to details. Plugo Link is a STEM activity that will allow students to use critical thinking skills to solve puzzles and build structures. Plugo Link will also develop creative and spatial thinking with my Firsties.”

Thank you so much for supporting my student(s) with technology during this time of digital learning. This tablet will help my student complete the required online learning requirements without having to share a smartphone with a sibling. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and heartfelt. Know that this would not be possible without your support.”

  • Globe Trotting First Graders

    Funded Dec 4, 2019

My students absolutely LOVE these globes! We have started using them to study Holidays Around the World and it has been great to see them working collaboratively trying to find the country. Not only that, the globes read all of the information to them and it is presented in 3D! The globes also adjust for the grade level. As I was observing today, a few of my students were learning about Egypt and the Statue of Liberty, which we had studied as a part of our America's Symbols unit. Thank you for another opportunity of hands on learning!”

  • Versatiles, What For? Shifu Some More (Math, That Is)!

    Funded Oct 4, 2019

Your donation means so much to my students! They were very excited to receive the Shifu Plugo and Bob Books Versatiles. To see them engaged in a meaningful and collaborative way is very exciting as an educator. Plugo is used daily in our math station rotation to help strengthen and sharpen necessary skills in math, like numeracy and place value. They also continue to practice reading and early phonics skills with Bob Books Versatiles. These resources make them eager to learn and take risks by asking questions and working together to find the solutions. Donors like you are much appreciated!”
