Thank you so much for allowing each child in my class to have a book of their own. The students took the book home to add to or start their own book library at home. Some students didn't have their very own book and because of you they now have a book of their own!!! Thank you so much! When my students received their books they were filled with joy. I am so thankful that now all of my students enjoy reading not only at school, but now at home as well. So many of my students stated that they didn't have not one book at home, and now they do!!”

Thank you so much for your donations. Because of you my students have an education spot! My students are able to sit on the carpet during story time and listen to stories while having a nice, clean, and educational spot to sit on. My students also uses the carpet to learn letters and beginning sounds. Each carpet square has just enough room for each studen to be comfortable. The carpet have uppercase and lowercase letters and each lette has a picture of the beginning letter which teaches students about begining sounds! Thanks so much!!!!”

My class and I can not thank you enough for making this trip such a special trip for my students. Without your help my class would not have been able to go to the Riverbank Zoo. My kids were so excited when I told them that we were going to the zoo to explore animals. They have watch movies about some of the animals, but never in real life have they ever experienced anything so real. My students were able to see elephants actually spraying water on their backs, zebras galloping and glazing, moneys swinging from branch to branch, bears loving their cubs. There were so many things to do and see, oh and the gorillas have new babies, and they are so adorable. The students were able to feed and pet the giraffes and goats. My kids can't stop talking and drawing about the wonderful and adventurous time that they had at the zoo and all this was because of you!! Our unforgettable day at the zoo will never be forgotten!!!”

My project will give students a chance to see real animals up close and personal when they spend a day at the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden. The students will get to explore animals that they may have only learned about in books or a movie. With this project, the students will get hands-on experiences. The students will be allowed to pet and feed some of the animals that are on exhibit at the zoo. The students will have memories of a lifetime. The students have studied about different animals, and it would be wonderful for them to actually be able to see the books in real life.
