Thanks so much! Our students will benefit so much!! Improving achievement in reading is a goal of our school and this book will help our teachers in helping our students reach this goal. Anything is possible with reading and it opens doors on the road to success. Today is an awesome step for us!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple and one other donor.

Reading is a fundamental aspect of learning and one of our schools goals for our students. "The Book Whisperer" by Donalyn Miller is a book that will help our teachers create the magic of reading in their classrooms. We will hold a school-wide book study this summer. Teachers will discuss their reading and implementation of the practices in the book with the students at Cotton Indian Elementary. We want to "awaken the inner reader in every child." Making this love of reading intrinsic with each student is a major goal of our school. We believe that through this love of reading, student achievement scores will increase across all subject areas.
