    Dear Donors,

    I'd like to personally thank you for your generous donations. The Kan-Jam equipment that you donated, has provided our students with the opportunity to experience an alternative activity to the typical sports (soccer, basketball, football etc.) conducted in physical education classes. The Kan-Jam equipment has been a great addition to our lifetime actives unit within our physical education curriculum. Funding for equipment can be challenging for New York City Public schools. Your donations have allowed our students to expand their view on physical activity.”

Our students are the most positive, hard working and respectful group of kids an educator can ever hope to teach. They come from so many different background and cultures. Having such a diverse student population, provides our school with so many wonderful teachable moments. Our students demonstrate an appreciation for physical education each day they attend class. Our school has been a fixture in the community it serves for 100 years. This year is our school's 100th year anniversary! Our school community is supportive and engaging. The administration of our school supports its teachers in every way. We are able to provide students with a wide range of clubs and activities before and after school. Even though we struggle with finding the funding for activities, our staff has been amazing at finding programs, like donors choose, to allow our students to experience what they deserve. Our student are always up for the challenges put before them in and out of our schools community.
