An IPad for Engagment
Funded Sep 29, 2022Thank you again for your support. Having an IPad in the classroom is a tremendous help. I love to mirror my Macbook to my Smartboard. I have my Smartboard look like what I want the students to have on their desks so they know exactly what to do. I normally stand in front of the room with the Smartboard to model the lesson for them. Now that we have an iPad the iPad can mirror my Macbook and the Smartboard at the same time. This allows me to move around the whole room while teaching and not stay in the front of the room.
The students also love to write on the board to participate. However my room is small and my students are very tall (juniors in High School), it makes it difficult to move around. They don't want to walk around the room because it's very uncomfortable for them. I can now hand the students the iPad and have them write on it like they are writing on the board without having to get up.
The iPad and Apple Pencil has been such a great addition to my classroom. I cannot thank you enough!”
With gratitude,

This classroom project was brought to life by An Anonymous Classroom Supporter and one other donor.Back To Basics!
Funded Nov 13, 2015Making sure my students come into a clean classroom with basic supplies is very important. It helps create a nice environment that students want to learn in. Nothing says come in and learn knowing that the classroom is clean and the supplies they need are readily available.
My students noticed right away the new addition to our classroom. They pointed out the new supplies before I had the chance to tell them.
These materials increase students learning by keeping the classroom and students clean. It also allows them to have basic supplies that they need such as pencils and notebooks since some students cannot afford them. Thank you so much for your donations to help my students feel comfortable and prepared to learn.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Camba
