My students come from a very low income neighborhood on the south side of Chicago. My school is not given many resources to teach students. My students have great personality and lots of character, along with many differences. I would like to teach them about other differences kids experience through reading the novel "Wonder." I want my students to learn to "choose kind" when learning about others and the obstacles they face.
