I teach in a Title One school in a diverse 7th Grade classroom with as many as 32-38 students per class. These students love being at school as evident by their presence on campus at least 30 minutes before school, and the required announcement that students need to go home at the end of the day. They are very active and love playing outside during lunch which makes sitting in a 90 minute class very difficult. However, when activities require movement, the students jump at the opportunity to learn in a new way.
