My students are 98% Hispanic. They come from the inner city neighborhoods that surround the school. They are some of the most respectful children I've ever known. We are a charter school, so we are able to teach kids in an alternative way to public schools. We focus on doing activities, along with different learning methods, rather than sitting and reading textbooks all day. Most of our children are the first in their family to go through school completely and, with that, they truly want to be at school each day.
