Funded Oct 18, 2018Thank you once again for your generous support! The students were excited to open up these new resources and start sorting and building with them. We are now busy working on our Mission Moon Lego project and because of your donation, we have Lego astronauts and the needed pieces that now make up our space station!
Thanks to you, the students will get to wear matching team shirts when we attend the Lego expo in March. These shirts will have the team logo that the students worked together to create. I cannot wait to see how proud and happy they will be when we attend the expo and show off their creativity and teamwork!”

Scrapbooking Superstars!
Funded Nov 11, 2016I am so grateful for your kind donation that funded our scrapbooking project! Having the Cricut Explore Air 2 in our classroom has provided new learning opportunities and a chance to expand students' creativity.
This technology has already been put to use in adding text to the students' scrapbook layouts and to add images and letters to create our school's winter photo backdrop. To use the Cricut, students are learning to use the app to search for graphics and fonts that they like, choose the right size for their images and then print and remove them. For some students, manipulating the letters and shapes that are cut out challenges their coordination and is a great way to improve their fine motor skills. Other students enjoy learning to use the Cricut software to program the machine.
Teaching and watching the students use the Cricut has been a wonderful experience so far and it would not have been possible without your thoughtful gift! Thank you for your help!”
