I teach 33, GATE identified, brilliant 6th graders. My exceptional students impress me daily with incredible creative writing pieces, research reports, narratives, science projects, oral presentations, and so much more. They also compete on our debate team, volunteer to work in the front office and library, are members of Student Council, Green Team, Mathletes, and participate in the many other non-academic extra-curricular activities that our school has to offer. I am lucky to be working with such extraordinary youngsters. The other 600+ students at our school (two of them are my daughters) are either GATE identified or advanced learners. Because we are not a Title 1 school, we do not receive extra funding from our district. We rely on parent donations, PTO fund raisers, and charitable community members/organizations to help us provide enrichment opportunities for our unique population of kids. Thank you for taking the time to read about us!
