My students come from an all over the world. Our newcomers program takes students immigrating to the U.S. and representing over 30 different languages and nationalities. 80% of our student population qualify for "free/reduced" lunch because of low family income. The average incoming freshman, not including students with an IEP, reads at a 6th grade level based on standardized test data.
