All of my students are transfer students. They were all in a different self-contained (extended resource) room. This year they are getting a first-year teacher (me) in an empty classroom. Many of them have behavioral issues that are impeding their education, and the behaviors exhibit themselves when there is a lack of regularity in the day. The nine kids range from kindergarten to 5th grade, and they are at all levels—€"from nonverbal to reading at a 4th-grade level.
