It's Beautiful to Be Bilingual! (Spanish Books for Bilingual Readers)
Funded Aug 31, 2017Thank you so much for your generous donations. This allowed me to purchase more than 30 Spanish language books for my class. Popular series like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid are now available to my students in English and Spanish. They are thrilled!
Teaching in two languages is difficult, as it is often hard to come by quality materials that are available in both languages. Additionally, I have to buy double of many classroom supplies, such as books. Having these books in Spanish allows my students to learn about literary genres, story structure, and advances their vocabulary, all in Spanish! Your support helps them to continue on their path to becoming truly bilingual.
Thank you again for your kindness. We will enjoy these books for many years.”

Creative Kids Need Painting Center
Funded Aug 30, 2010Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for your generous donation to my classroom. My students literally squealed with joy when the painting supplies were delivered, and they have used the materials everyday. So far we have used the four person easel to paint leaves, pumpkins, and apples for our fall collage and writing project. The students are so much more engaged in the learning experiences when they have personally helped to create them!
As many people know, receiving funding for educational necessities is difficult, to say nothing of funding for any sort of art or extracurricular activities. My students are having the experiences that all Kindergartners deserve to have: a creative outlet that helps foster a love of learning.
Thank you again for supporting the educational foundation of my students!”

Spanish Science Kit for Kindergarten Immersion!
Funded Oct 2, 2009There is no way to express how grateful my students and I are for your generous donation. The Spanish Language Science equipment has been absolutely invaluable in my classroom. My students are so excited to use the colorful, quality hands-on materials and are completely absorbed in the activities. These materials have sparked questions and conversations about magnets, weather, insects, the Five Senses, and geology, to name a few. It is so wonderful to see my students so engaged in their own learning!
With the recent emphasis on scripted curriculum and the budget crisis facing education, it is becoming more and more difficult to find the funds and support to provide students with authentic and engaging learning opportunities in science, let alone a second language. Your generosity has provided my students with such an experience, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you so much for investing in our children!”
With gratitude,
