Our rural, public, middle school has strong ties to the community. We have less than 900 students, and most do not have access to learning outside the classroom, such no transportation to the library and no internet access. Most ride the bus and do not have time to get extra help or enrichment from teachers after school. Our school population is 75% below the proverty line, and majority receive free or reduced lunch.
