Students are expected to learn and succeed in an environment that restricts them in many ways. Being expected to sit still on hard plastic chairs, focus on the lesson and solve complicated math problems is difficult. When the classroom chair is the only place they have to sit for hours, it can be hard to concentrate. Having variety with their seating will help keep their minds clear to master the tasks they are given. Reading a book is magical. The places books can take you are incredible. But reading at a desk, on an uncomfortable chair or being asked to sit on the hard floor and read doesn't allow that magic to reach many students. They need places that will enable them to be comfortable and let the books capture their minds. Those opportunities are critical in developing the love of reading. Finally, students need a chance to tune out the background noises when working on digital assignments. Distractions create confusion in their minds and make it hard to complete digital tasks correctly. Good headphones will give them a chance to focus and complete These chairs, stools and headphones will help my students focus better, concentrate on their assignments and assist them in being their best selves.
