My students understand that we are limited with some of our resources and they try to work with what is available to them. They take very good care of our reading materials and resources because they enjoy reading so much. However, many of my students are struggling readers who require a lot of assistance with their reading. Listening to reading activities allows for them to practice listening skills and to hear models of fluent reading which improves their reading abilities.
