  • Math Mania!

    Thank you so much for donating all of the wonderful math manipulatives and games to my classroom. These materials have made a lasting impact on my students and they have enjoyed being able to experience wonderful learning opportunities with them in my classroom.

    Any way that my students can get a hands on learning experience is a new opportunity for them to retain the knowledge they are learning. They truly understand what they are learning when they get the chance to touch and move the objects rather than just writing it down on paper. I truly appreciate your contribution to my classroom.”

  • When Literature and Math Collide

    Thank you so much for funding my project When Literature and Math Collide. We have used the books and math manipulatives in a variety of ways. These centers have truly been an engaging experience for my students. There are so many math concepts that are abstract for first graders and these resources have made math much more concrete for my students and they are getting these concepts much more quickly than if I had to just present them and give them worksheets. My students love them so much and truly love hearing the stories and then being able to apply the concepts during center time. Once again, we truly appreciate your time and funding in providing these resources for us.”

  • Hands On Math

    Thank you so much for you generous donation to my classroom. The math manipulatives that I received are used every day during math centers and during instructional time to teach new math concepts. My students have learned so much more and in a much more concrete way because of these hands on activities. Before your donation, I had a much harder time teaching math because I didn't have the resources I needed to give my students a truly concrete way to learn. They have learned patterns, addition, and money much more quickly than they would have without the math manipulatives I now have in my classroom. Once again, thank you for your generosity.”

  • Math Concepts are Cool

    I just want to thank you so much for donating the calendar and photo library to my classroom. My students are learning so much each and every day from the calendar. Every day a student gets to be the calendar helper and change the date and help teach the class. They all look forward to being the calendar helper. This calendar has been so wonderful for teaching my students calendar facts, money, place value, addition, skip counting, and problem solving skills. This has made such a huge difference for my students. We have used the photo library for patterns and counting. It has been a wonderful resource for my English Language Learners.   • Creativity, Calmess, and a Carpet

    Words cannot express how much I appreciate your donation to my classroom. First of all the rug is beautiful and adds so much color to my classroom. Second, my students love it. They were so excited when they walked in that morning. They are taking such good care of it and love having their own square to sit on during group time.

    Without your generosity, I would have dreamed of a carpet like this for years. Very rarely are we, as teachers, given the opportunity to order something like this for our classroom. Overall, this carpet has made a huge difference in behavior of my kids during group time and they have shown such respect for it.

  • Place Value Palooza!

    I want to thank you so much for donating the place value set to my classroom. Your generous donation gave my students a wonderful opportunity to experience math in a much more hands on way. They loved the experience of actually touching the blocks to create the numbers I had given them. It gave them a concrete experience to go with an abstract concept.

    We are a Reading First school and it is very difficult to get the math manipulatives we need without purchasing them out of our own pocket or from donations. Please know that I truly appreciate your contribution to my classroom. I will continue using these blocks this year and for years to come.”
