• Sharpies for Success

  Thank you so much for helping out with providing our students with sharpies. We use sharpies almost daily in the art classroom, across grade levels. In a school of almost 400 students where every student has art class, we use a lot of sharpies!

  My students truly get excited when they get to use a new sharpie and because of you, they are provided with this experience daily. In particular their favorite time to use sharpies is during the Fun Draw Fridays where we do a guided drawing that they take home to their families. Thank you so much!”

• An Environment for Everyone!

  Thank you so much for your generous donations! Thanks to your help we are able to have a cozy, warm, inviting, and fun environment for our Edison students to learn. I love that I am able to offer a space where students feel they can relax and enjoy creating.

  With your help we were able to purchase lighting and other fun elements to give students a unique experience when they enter the art room. Many students have sighed in relief and said with words how they feel the classroom feels at peace or a place they can relax. Thank you for your generous donations and help in making this possible!”

While I feel lucky to live and work in a school district that is as supportive as possible, there is always a push and pull towards excellence and the next possible tools to use to teach. I am excited to find new programs for students and new possibilities for learning with the new tools you have given me.

• Painting Paradise in Mrs. S's Room

  Thank you so much for your generous contributions to our classroom! Because of you all of the students in art right now, which is half of the entire school, have already been able to use the paintbrushes that you helped make possible! We have used both watercolors and acrylic paint, and the kids enjoyed it so much!

  With your help we were also able to purchase proper storage containers for the paintbrushes so they are able to keep up their great quality for many years to come. Thank you so much for your generosity and we can't wait to create more art because of you!”

• Carts for Third Grade's Transition!

  With your help, I feel that my classroom is ready to transition to a third grade room! The shelving is an appropriate size for students that will be coming to our school next year, and it will be easier for them to keep track of their artwork! We have been using these shelves all day everyday for the last quarter, and they are working perfectly! I greatly appreciate your support and help with making this transition for our school a little easier by allowing the purchase of these carts! Thank you so much!”
