Having colorful and easily cleanable learning materials will allow all my students to be engaged throughout the day in their learning. Little learners develop social and problem-solving skills through play and investigation. In order to keep my students safe during play and investigation, they are required to socially distance and have their own set of materials with which to interact. These materials may not be used by another student until cleaned. Unfortunately, my school is unable to afford to purchase enough materials to properly accomplish this. Having sufficient developmentally appropriate materials will allow me to properly clean and sanitize materials between use, so that my students may learn with them safely. Providing interesting and engaging materials to students at this age is essential to their learning and development and fosters their creativity and critical thinking skills. In donating to this project, you will be nurturing the safe growth and development of 20 little precious minds, and in the process, helping to close their potential achievement gaps before they begin. Thank you.
