Saving and Spending a Wonderful How To!
Funded Aug 15, 2021My students and I appreciate generous donors like you. Your kind gesture will make a tremendous difference in their everyday lives. My students and I get so excited whenever we get a package with new materials.
The new money materials will help us learn everyday skills that can be utilized in their daily lives. My students are looking forward to using the magnetic money and the other hands on materials. They truly love pretending that they have all the money in the world.
I am starting my 30th year of teaching in this time of a lot of unknowns. People like you help to make my students feel like they are the most important people in the world. We will think of all you whenever we use the donated materials. Thanks again for your generosity.”

Funded Dec 3, 2019There are no words that can truly express my gratitude. Your donation has made a tremendous difference in the everyday lives of my students. My students now use the chrome books in order to access their literacy and math interventions on a daily basis.
They help them to complete literacy and math activities on their own level. The use of technology allows them to work independently on specific skills while helping them master these skills.
I would not be able to purchase these items for my classroom so I am thankful for the generosity of people like you who believe in my children and public education.”

Funded Aug 6, 2019There are no words that can truly express my gratitude. Your kind gesture has made a tremendous difference in the everyday lives of my students. My students and I were so excited when the packages arrived with all of our new materials. We all had fun opening the packages. Together we are learning how to navigate our new technology.
My students were most excited about being able to use the chrome books for the first time. They wanted to be that ONE who was chosen to try out the new technology. We all love to get new things but this made them want to do their daily reading and math work, which I find to be the most rewarding part.
I am starting my 28th year of teaching and technology is becoming more integrated into the daily learning process. Thanks for making my students feel like they are the most important people in the world. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.”

Funded Aug 22, 2018There are no words that can truly express my gratitude. Your kind gesture has made a tremendous difference in the everyday lives of my students. My students and I were so excited when the packages arrived with all of our new materials. We all had fun opening the packages. Together we found the perfect place to put all of the activities in our room.
My students are now able to complete their vocabulary work journals, sight word journals, and math journals on a daily basis. Another big hit was the high interest low reading level boxes of reading materials. This allows my students to read about interesting things at their own grade level. Others might think that this is not a big deal but it has given my students the freedom to complete more independent reading work. There are still some materials that we have not utilized to the fullest yet but please know that they will all become part of our daily learning soon.
I have been teaching for 27 years and it is becoming more difficult to purchase materials for all of my students. People like you help to make my students feel like they are the most important people in the world. Thanks again for your generosity.”

Individualized Learning Helps Create Beautiful Butterflies
Funded Aug 24, 2016My students and I are truly appreciative of your generosity. Your kind gesture has made a tremendous difference in the everyday lives of my students. My students and I were so excited when the packages arrived with all of our new materials. We all had fun opening the packages and together we found the perfect place to put all of the activities in our room.
My students are now able to listen to their sight words using their brand new talking sight word boards. Others might think that this is not a big deal but it has given my students the freedom to listen to the sight words that they do not know without support and the fear of being embarrassed. My students love to time themselves when they are reading their words out loud. They can get very competitive with each other and this makes learning more fun in their eyes.
My younger students are using the word stretchers to help then while blending their words together. There are still some materials that we have not utilized to the fullest yet but please know that they will all become part of our daily learning soon.
The math daily activity centers touch on so many of the skills that we are working on. They are able to solve each of the problems using a variety of different techniques and these centers help them with that. I love that the fact that we have five different levels of math center games to use in class.
I have been teaching for 25 years and it is becoming more difficult to purchase materials for all of my students. People like you help to make my students feel like they are the most important people in the world. Thanks again for your generosity.”

My students are now able to listen to their literature selections on a working CD player with individual headphones. Others might think that this is not a big deal but it has given my students the freedom to listen to chapter books that they are not able to read on their own without support. I see a newfound confidence in them because they are able to become active participants in classroom discussions even when they are in the regular classroom.
The math center games touch on so many of the skills that we are working on. They love that they can take a folder and play the game with one of their friends. They are self-checking so that my students have full control from the start of the game to the finish of the game. I love that the fact that we have three different levels of math center games to use in class.
I love my job and students and it breaks my heart when I cannot get them all of the supplies that are needed. People like you help to make my students feel like they are the most important people in the world. Thanks again for your generosity.”
