  • Flexible Seating and Snacks Are the Way to Go!

    Funded Jul 30, 2024

Donations are the only way that we as teachers can provide our students with the essentials items in order to make them successful. My students now know that there is a place for them to go when they are hungry and need a pick me up. The snacks provide through this donation will keep their stomachs filled until after the new year.

The wobble cushions have helped my more active students stay focused during the daily lessons. They know that they can get their wiggles out without the fear of getting in trouble. They love to use them and clean them on a daily basis.

I have been teaching for 33 years and it is becoming more difficult to purchase materials for all of my students. People like you help to make my students feel like they are the most important people in the world. Thanks again for your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Colleen Yarnall

  • Snacking While Learning!

    Funded Aug 15, 2023

I wanted to express my gratitude to all of the generous donors who took the time to support my learning support classroom. These donations allow me to purchase supplies for my students that I would not be able to afford on my own. My students love to learn but they also love to eat. The donations that were received allows my students to do both at the same time. I have learned that sometimes a small pick me up allows my students to be more successful throughout the day.

I have been teaching for 32 years and it is becoming more difficult to purchase materials for all of my students. People like you help to make my students feel like they are the most important people in the world. Thanks again for your generosity.”

  • Bring Our Classroom to Life with Basic Supplies!

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

There are no words that can truly express my gratitude. Your kind gesture has made a tremendous difference in the everyday lives of my students. My students and I were so excited when the packages arrived. The supplies will help with the daily routines within my classroom.

My students liked the new wooble cushions. They take turns using them on a daily basis. The donation of the lysol wipes have helped us to continue to stay safe within the building. My students have become used to sanitizing our tables, chairs and wooble cushions after each period.

I have been teaching for 32 years and it is becoming more difficult to purchase materials like toner for our classroom printer. People like you help to make my students feel like they are the most important people in the world. Thanks again for your generosity.”

  • Tech Support Needed!!

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

There are no words that can truly express my gratitude. Your kind gesture has made a tremendous difference in the everyday lives of my students. My students and I were so excited when the packages arrived with all of our new materials. We all had fun opening the packages. The toner was put right into our classroom printer.

My students helped me find the perfect place for the headphones. They are easily accessible to all and are being used daily during their reading and math intervention. I am also happy that they can be cleaned after each use in order to keep us all safe.

I have been teaching for 31 years and it is becoming more difficult to purchase materials for all of my students. Donors like you help to make my students feel like they are the most important people in the world. Thanks again for your generosity.”

  • Starting Off the New Year Right!

    Funded Aug 20, 2022

Again, I am grateful for the donations that were made to my students and classroom. Without your generosity, I would not be able to provide my students with all of the necessary supplies.

My students and I were so excited when the packages arrived with all of our new materials. We all had fun opening the packages. Together we found the perfect way to store our daily snacks. They were happy when they saw their favorite snack in the boxes. The chocolate chip cookies and the double fudge cookies were the number one hit. Even though the snacks were the ultimate hit, the writing paper is being used on a daily basis.

Thanks again for supporting my students.”

  • Help Needed to Stay Safe and Healthy in School!

    Funded Feb 23, 2022

Again, words cannot express how grateful I am for all of the donors who funded my individual project. The supplies ordered are used on a daily basis several times each day. I for one feel safer because of all of the Lysol wipes and hand sanitizer we received. My students were also excited to see all of the snacks. They especially loved the cookies. They were almost always their first choice. I am also thankful for the toner that was donated. My students were able to print their projects with pictures on the printer in our class. This was a big help because most of them do not have access to a printer at home. This year has been a struggle but donors like you have made it better.”

  • Fueling the Body with Healthy Snacks!

    Funded Dec 14, 2021

My students and I are very grateful for the healthy snacks we received. They are now able to start their day with something in their stomach. They are really enjoying the variety of snacks that they received but I have to be honest the Cheez Its are the biggest hit. They are more focused on their lessons because people like you helped to supply them with the fuel needed to achieve.

The only thing that I could fit all of the snacks in were big rubbermaid containers. So in I came one day with two of the biggest containers I could find with the treasures for my kiddos. My students were shocked and excited to see all of the different choices that they had to choose from. We are truly blessed to have such good donors like you.”

  • A Shelf is a House for Classroom Materials.

    Funded Aug 7, 2021

There are no words that can truly express my gratitude. Your kind gesture has made a tremendous difference in the everyday lives of my students. My students and I were so excited when the package arrived with our new shelf. It took a little while to get to us because of our original choice was back ordered so we had to find a different one that would meet our needs. Finally it arrived but we first had to tackle putting it together.

As you can see by the pictures we were able to put it together and finally get the much needed space for our supplies. My children can now find all of their art supplies in one organized place.

Thanks again for your generosity. We truly appreciate it.”

I can not wait to try the highlighter tape center when we are working on identifying different parts of words.

My students are the best in the world. I personally get to know my students a little better than most because I will have them for multiple years. I teach students in a Learning Support setting and they range in age from 6-10. We are lucky because our school is a small little family where all of the kids know you and you know them.
