As I was browsing through Amazon I saw these Anti-Distraction bracelets, so simple, but so useful! A little about the product: DEVELOPED BY A SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST- specializing in children with ADHD and Autism/GENTLE STRATEGICALLY TIMED VIBRATIONS- serve as a silent reminders to stay on task/PROPRIETARY ALGORITHM- tells RE-vibe when to vibrate and how it should feel to reduce the chance that users get used to reminders/USED IN OVER 2,000 SCHOOLS- great for those who struggle with on-task behavior or who need frequent reminders to attend to their work. Each of my classes bring daily challenges, but one that I would like to get over is the constant reminders to get back to work or focus. Being an ESE/ELA/Intensive Reading teacher, I deal with many very low students who suffer from attention difficulties. Instead of me interrupting my students who are working, or the small groups that I am working in to remind a student to get back on task, the bracelet could be my saving grace to do this instead! I have talked to my students already about the possibility of trying these out and they are all for it! This could be the change we need in order to fill as many gaps in their learning as possible!
