Happy Hands-on Learners
Funded Sep 22, 2021Thank you so much for your generous contribution to my classroom. You are truly helping bring learning to life!
Our students are eager to show what they know and all they can do using these many and varied resources to engage their developing expertise. This would not be possible at all without your generosity and for that we owe you our greatest gratitude.
Considering the wide range of interests in our students, we are happy to be able to provide an entry point for every student to engage with the complex topics of fourth grade across all of our subjects.
We appreciate you!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Emily

Funded Aug 28, 2021We are so joyful and filled with gratitude at your generous book donation to our classroom. Our shelves are positively bursting with new books that engage my students minds and emotions.
Students have been gobbling up the literature portrayed before them and can hardly wait to get their hands on the books that are prominently displayed in our classroom library. They are so eager to read page after page and book after book. Having access to graphic novels and picture books about topics that may not usually interest them has hooked students into reading about civil rights and social issues, building up empathy for others. Not only that, but they are seeing themselves reflected in other works as they read about musicians, artists, kids from around the world, athletes, and more.
Please know that you have truly made an impact on these students and the children who will enter my classroom for many years to come. We have cherished these books already and will continue to do so. Thank you, thank you!!”

Funded Aug 13, 2021Thank you so much for your support making this project come to life!! My students were thrilled when they saw that our classroom is "a LEGO classroom" where they can imagine freely and then bring their dreams to life.
They saw boxes and boxes of LEGO stacked in our classroom ready for play. What's more is that, thanks to the storage container solutions in the project, students can safely socially distance and work out of individual boxes of LEGO, with easy sanitation in between uses. This allows for us to use the LEGO bricks on a regular basis to build fantastic castles, vehicles, animals, and neighborhoods.
We are so eager to continue to build this year and use our LEGO creations as the groundwork for many writing projects, scientific inquiries, and engineering feats. That's all thanks to YOU!!!”

Funded Sep 14, 2015Thank you SO much for your support! Your contribution to my classroom and students has been put to good use already and my students have been eagerly using our new literacy learning resources.
In fact, I have noticed a significant difference in their approach to our reading work using our new gel boards and magnetic letters, which give my students a tactile approach to early reading skills. Additionally, we have begun a reader's theater practice for students who need help building their fluency in reading. They are able to practice reading with expression and rereading familiar material in an engaging and fun way. Finally, they LOVE the new learning games that we have. Every day, they look forward to our reading games time, where they beg to play Sight Word Jenga. They are so excited about this work!
You have no idea how much this means to me since just a couple months ago, many of my students, who have unique learning needs, felt that they aren't readers or aren't smart. You have helped unlock their literacy learning potential and made a lasting impression on me, my students, and my overall classroom environment with your generous support.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Emily
