• Safe and Healthy!

  I am truly blown away but the outpour of support towards this project. With the uncertainty of the pandemic and how it will greatly effect all students and teachers knowing my students will begin to have some of the essential cleaning supplies to use on a daily basis means a great deal. The long lasting effects of this pandemic especially on our black and brown and poor students furthers the gaps on inequality, leaving them once again a vast disadvantage. It is a great relief to know that there are MANY supports and advocates for our students in the public sector who will do more than just talk the talk, but will do everything they can to help students in need. For those of you who I have never met, please know that we don't know each other, you will forever have a place in my heart and in my students' as well. For those who I do have a personal connection, thank you for being a friend who not only supports me, but my students who mean the world to me as well. Thank you!”

• Let's Get Organized!

  Thank you so much for your generosity on yet another one of my projects. Each and every time I see another project funded, I smile from ear to ear because I could not do it with out each of you. Thanks to you, my students were able to stay organized this year. Being able to stay organized in 5th grade in which they cycle between two teachers is essential in the success of their learning. Having extra space for them to store their notebooks, and other material that they did not need to travel with on a daily basis made things easier for them. So thank you!!!”

• Interacting With Interactive Notebooks.

  Thank you for your ongoing support and selflessness towards another project to help my math students. Next year's students will have the tools they need in order to create interactive math notebooks to keep their notes organized. My hope for next year's students is that they begin to create their own notes, as opposed to memorizing math vocabulary through traditional means of just simply copying information from a textbook. Each and every time I put up a new project up on Donor's Choose, I am blown away by the generosity of others. Being able to find funding to obtain materials for the classroom is not always easy, so I am entirely grateful for your help!”
